The county seat of Lincoln County and the location of Lincoln County Hospital is Lincoln, Kan. The Lincoln County Courthouse was built in 1900 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Kansas Register of Historic Places.
Lincoln is located in Kansas’s heartland, 45 miles northwest from Salina and about 100 miles from Wichita. The town possesses historic limestone buildings throughout the downtown area and is just 25 miles from beautiful Lake Wilson. Lincoln offers many outdoor activities, including water sports, hunting, fishing and high school athletic events.

Lincoln County has excellent school systems in Lincoln and Sylvan Grove, with many churches and daycare providers in the area as well. The Crispin pharmacy museum, Girl Scout museum and the Historic Carnegie Library are three local attractions. The community also includes a thriving art center with rotating exhibits, a movie theater, golf course, pharmacy and many retail businesses. The city park provides a swimming pool, ball fields, tennis courts, and playgrounds, as well as fine historic stone buildings.
